Principal, Managing Director
Shannon Hoff serves as Fluidity’s Managing Director and Concepts Studio Director. In these dual roles she oversees Fluidity’s day-to-day operations to ensure projects are adequately staffed & running smoothly, while concurrently working with James Garland to develop and communicate the fundamental design statement of each project. In this work, Shannon is involved with research, project design, cost analyses and coordination. Shannon represents Fluidity in project design meetings held in the US and abroad.
Shannon joined Fluidity in 2004 after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from the Art Center College of Design. Shannon has prior professional experience in technical theater and furniture design. Her varied design background contributes to the multi-disciplinary spirit of Fluidity’s studio.
Shannon has contributed to many of Fluidity’s best known projects including, The Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York City, USA), Jing An Kerry Centre (Shanghai, China), Myriad Gardens (Oklahoma City, USA), Daesung D3 City (Seoul, South Korea), Cairo Festival City (Cairo, Egypt), and Dubai Festival City (Dubai, UAE), Camana Bay (Grand Cayman Island, BWI), Lusail Bridges (Doha, Qatar), TDIC Headquarters (Abu Dhabi, UAE), Signature Place ( St. Petersburg, USA), Vivo City ( Harbour Front Walk, Singapore), Tongva Park & Town Square (Santa Monica, USA), Symphony Park (Las Vegas, USA), Sheik Khalifa Medical City (Abu Dhabi, UAE),Cairo Madinaty (Cairo, Egypt) and The City 7 (Busan, South Korea).
