For the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, working with Coen + Partners, Fluidity refurbished the historic Peace Fountain with the integration of artist Anne Hamilton’s text-based, spatial artwork, Song of Water, acknowledging the site’s history as Dakota Land based on a poem Song for the Mississippi River. Flanking the feature is Eric Anderson’s ‘Wakefield,’ where misting jets symbolize every first and last breath taken of Mayo Clinic Patients. Fluidity worked to maximize each artist’s vision and how the fountain activates the 2-block plaza.
